Australia: land of surprises

1)      There are kangaroos and koalas everywhere in Australia

It’s wrong because Neil lives in Darwin and he has never seen a koala. Sean lives in Perth : there are snakes, spider and crocodiles!

2)      Rugby is the Australian national sport

Sean has never been a rugby fan. He prefers football, cricket, soccer and golf

3)      A shark is always ready to eat you up when you go swimming in the sea.

Ellen goes swimming everyday in Queensland and she has never seen a shark in the sea!

4)      All Australians are great surfers

Craig lives in the desert and he has never been to the sea. He is not a surf champion!

5)      It’s always hot in Australia

Luling has never been swimming in the sea in winter. It’s way too cold !
